Welcome to Melvin Village Marina!  For over 55 years, we have been serving boaters on Lake Winnipesaukee and throughout New Hampshire with quality boat lines (Four Winns, Lund, and Key West) and motors (Honda, Volvo Penta, and Mercruiser), all backed by award-winning service.  We've grown from just an old New England house and barn on the beautiful waters of Melvin Bay, to 80 slips and 13 buildings spread over 4 parcels of land.  We invite you to explore our website, find out more about us (and a little history of the area), see our inventory of new and used boats, and learn about the exceptional products and services we offer.   

Our latest addition is our new showroom. Located directly across the street from our lakefront slips, service, and storage, this classic building was designed to blend in with our small village, and resemble a traditional New England barn.  Inside is a modern display area with 25+ boats, office and sales space and our Ship's Store.  You can view our most popular models year round inside our spacious showroom. 

The real reason for our growth and success over the years is not our buildings, but our skilled, caring and experienced staff.  Owned by the same family for 29 years, with the second generation firmly in place, employment here is not a revolving door.  Our staff works year-round, and regards this as their profession. Even our summer Dockhands often come back year after year, and several have joined us full time after completing their education.  Couple that with regular factory training and certification, the right tools and parts, plus plenty of indoor work space designed for boat service, and our customers know their boat will be repaired, stored, and serviced correctly.  This is reflected in our Four Winns Customer Satisfaction Rating of 100%, the only dealer in the Northeast with a perfect score!  Unlike many dealerships, we have far more Marine Technicians than Salespeople.  We're not the biggest boat dealer on Lake Winnipesaukee, nor are we the smallest, but we strive to be the best.

Four Winns Boats!

For over 25 years, we have proudly sold Four Winns fiberglass runabouts, cruisers, deckboats, and other styles.  When we started, the company was owned by the Winn family (There really were four of them!), and they took the company from a small, Midwest boatbuilder to one of the major boat lines in the world.  They did it by building better boats at reasonable prices, and that's still true today.  As of January, 2010, the company is under new ownership, backed by extensive resources.  We stock most models up to 31 feet (Call to be sure!), and Four Winns models range from 18 to 45 feet. We are the only Four Winns dealer on Lake Winnipesaukee, and serve boaters throughout the Lakes Region and New Hampshire.

Lund Boats!

Call the Lund Factory, and the first thing you hear is that Lund is the "World's Finest Aluminum Fishing Boat".  We agree, and so do serious Anglers all over the world.  When the opportunity to sell Lund Boats became available almost 20 years ago, we jumped at the chance.  With over 60 models, from 12 ft. rowboats on up, Lund has something for everyone.  With a quiet, clean and reliable Honda outboard for power (Mercury is also available) you have a package with the highest quality and features.  We are the exclusive dealer for Lund Boats in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. 

Key West Boats!
We were originally attracted to Key West Boats at a boat show.  We noted their classic lines and top quality.  In fact, the fit, finish and design rival Boston Whaler and Grady White, but for a lot less money!  Many people think center console and dual console (full windshield) boats as just for fishing or coastal waters.  However, Lake Winnipesaukee boaters have found that these boats are practical, offer a simple, easy to maintain interior, and are just fun to drive.  Add a Honda motor to the back, and you get a package that resembles Honda automobiles:  They look good and run almost forever! We are the exclusive Key West dealer for New Hampshire.

From 2 to 225 Horsepower, Honda is simply the best outboard motor we've ever sold.  They are all backed by a standard Five Year Factory Warranty, because they can be!  All clean and quiet four-stroke motors, these are simply the most reliable outboard motor you can buy, and they have the J. D. Powers Survey awards for the past 3 years to prove it.

Why do we say this?  Because when Four Winns first used this as their theme almost 10 years ago, we instantly embraced the emotion.  You want to have fun in your boat, and have it ready to use for your free time and vacations.  It's our job to make this happen.  But, long before that point, we will do our utmost to help you pick the right boat, show you all the features, and do an in-water delivery with you to demonstrate the operation and make sure you understand the operation of your new or used boat. 

Our salespeople do not work on commission.  They are free to listen to what you want in a boat, and do their utmost to make good recommendations.  We will give you our best, competitive price, right up front.  No hidden costs, no hassles, no deception.  If you want to know about financing, we work with Priority One, which has access to multiple banks, and will work hard to find the best rates and terms for your particular situation.  Priority One has more resources available than any dealer could offer on their own.  All application and closing processes are done on site, for your convenience. 

In season, we work Saturday's, Sunday's, and Holiday's so that our customers can be free to enjoy their boat.  Off season, our showroom is open 6 days a week, and our Service Department is open Monday-Friday.

The bar of customer expectations gets higher every year, and we can't stand still!  Even in difficult times, we have added equipment (including a new 65,000 pound Wiggins forklift), added facilities (a brand new showroom), continued factory training, and worked to make our operation "Greener" by reducing waste, increasing recycling, and reducing the energy we use.  We have the resources to do this today, and that means we will be here for our customers in the future.
